Our Story
The Scottish Furniture Reps Association (SFRA) was founded over 55 years ago by our late founder, Nat Barnes. Since its formal inception in 1965, the SFRA has been passionate about uniting furniture manufacturers, suppliers and industry reps, for a more cohesive profession. With more than 100 active and retired members, the SFRA has had a significant impact on the Scottish furniture industry and furniture lovers alike.
The SFRA is proud to own and run the annual Northpoint Trade Show, the only independent furniture trade show in Scotland. Our members help to bring together the industry's best manufacturers and suppliers under one roof for three days of exhibits and events.

The SFTBA believes that everyone deserves a good and comfortable living space, regardless of their circumstances. Our charity provides assistance to individuals in Scotland who have been impacted by illness or misfortune and are connected to the furniture industry. We understand that life throws curveballs, and we are here to lend a helping hand when you need it the most. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for these individuals, and we work tirelessly to achieve this goal.
